Synopsis

This morning as I sat out on the bay having my coffee I watched the two preeminent birds in Key Largo.

The seagull and the frigate.

The frigate barely moves its wings and rarely ever cries out.

The seagull constantly flaps it’s comparatively short wings and squawks incessantly.

The frigate rides the currents of air whereas the seagull fights them.

The lowly seagull, which many call the pigeon of the tropics, must hunt twice as much because it also has to fill the belly of the frigate.

Are you a frigate or a seagull?

Do you aspire to be one or the other?

Let’s explore nature and how it reflects ourselves in this JumpStart.
