When I tell people I live in Key Largo Florida they often look at me with glazed eyes and mutter some variation of, “Well! It must be nice“ while rolling their eyes in mock (and sometimes real) exasperation.
Moving to the Florida Keys seems like an unattainable dream for most people – – it certainly did for me for a very long time.
In today’s JumpStart I share the true story of my good friend Rob who moved here with very little money and now lives in paradise in the lap of luxury.
The barriers to your dreams are only in your head and today we’re going to break through them together!

Hello! I watch your videos almost every day. You are such an inspiration! You helped me so much five years ago when I was going through a divorce. I often send your daily jump start to my daughters for a daily boost as well. I am so happy to hear you moved to Key Largo. I too dream of moving to the Florida Keys and living on a boat like your friend. It can be done!! Right now we are living in Arizona after moving from South Dakota in June. I’m giving it five years here, then hoping to have a plan in place to relocate to Florida or maybe even Belize!
