Synopsis
I said in a JumpStart a couple of days ago that each of us is loved and protected by God and someone wrote in to say, “I’m 79 and I’ve heard ministers and other people say stuff like that my whole life. But, how can it be true when there are dying children and sick people everywhere?”
That question is more important to consider now than ever before.
If there is a loving God, how can we have global pandemics, war, famine, poverty and suffering?
Today, I’m going to give you my best answer to this question — one that brings me comfort so that you might feel comforted as well.

Your daily videos used to be a few minutes long, now they are all over 20-25 minutes or so and I am unable to devote that much time to watch them. Are there plans to provide the shorter videos we’ve seen in the past?
I get these emails at work and do not have the time to have a video on. It would be so appreciated to have the video info typed out so that i can read. i have passed up so many videos that i would have be interested in but, just can’t have this on at work. after work there are so many other things going on that i just can never get back to this. it would be nice to have an option. thx

Unfortunately, my question was completely misinterpreted.
I do hope someday you will read it again and give an appropriate response. I have heard your views on “santa claus” prayers. That answer missed the mark.
I could go on and on. Perhaps, someday, I will when I decided to write you a letter.
