I’m on Day 4 going 21 Days Complaint Free. (‘shot this photo myself ‘cause I’m off on a speaking trip).
I’ve been meditating on how much we allow others to control our lives when we wait for them to do something. I realized that, as long as we wait for anyone to do anything, we are always at their mercy. Rather than waiting, let’s go first.
– The first person to apologize is the first one to be free from the argument
– The first one to smile assures that they are always surrounded by smiles
– The first one to have faith, is the first one to contribute to the situation improving
Who are you waiting on and what are you waiting for them to do?
Better question: How can you go first to make things better?
