I’ve noticed that people who rarely travel get very upset when there are airline issues.
If a flight is delayed or canceled, because these people fly so infrequently, they say things like “this ALWAYS happens!” And, “the airlines are NEVER on time.”
The other night my flight from Kansas City was delayed because they were tornadoes on the ground in Chicago. I was amazed to hear other passengers complaining that the flights were not taking off anyway. All I could think was, “I’m glad we’re not flying into a tornado!”
Be careful how you use the words “always” and “never.” Seldom are things this absolute and the more extreme you are in your opinions the less happy you tend to be.
